Mrs. Kris Blake
Kris Blake is excited to be teaching Pre-K scholars this year at American Heritage. Kris earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University in Youth Agency Administration in 1996 and has worked with children and teens continuously ever since, whether as a Camp Director for organizations such as Boy Scouts of America and city parks and recreation departments, or serving as a youth leader in church. She has a passion for musical theater and has taught and directed children’s theater for several years. She loves teaching young children and has worked, most recently, as a preschool program director. Her hobbies include sewing, costume and jewelry design, and writing. She has been married to her very patient and loving husband, Thad, for 22 years and are together raising two teenage sons and a daughter. They have lived in Henderson for 12 years, but are both So. California natives. Kris is grateful to work in an educational environment, like AHA, that supports religious beliefs and values.
