International Students

The following process is followed to enroll international students at American Heritage Academy,:

Step 1:

Student submits:

  • Application for Enrollment with $125 application fee.
  • Immunization records showing compliance with Nevada state law.
  • Academic transcripts for the past two years.
  • Official signed statement of current bank account balance, reflecting adequate funds to cover tuition and living expenses.

Step 2:

Submit Document Packet to:

Step 3:

Student arranges for home stay, submits U.S. address to AHA and provides certificate of health insurance coverage to AHA via mail.

Step 4:

American Heritage Academy issues I-20 to student OR requests I-20 transfer from student’s current school.

Step 5:

Student pays I-901 fee to U.S. Embassy or Consulate

Present I-20 form to U.S. Embassy or Consulate with other F visa requirements

Tuition and Living Expenses

Tuition for international students is $9,500 per year. Other living expenses are estimated as follows:

Student Health Insurance

Student health insurance is not available through American Heritage Academy and must be purchased separately.

Home Stay Arrangements

Home stay arrangements are the responsibility of the prospective student’s family or agent. American Heritage School does not offer boarding facilities but we can provide information to you for potential host families.

International students pay a monthly fee as compensation for meals, lodging, internet connection, and transportation to and from the school.

The James Madison Statesman Award is given to the senior who best exemplifies outstanding Christian statesmanship.
A statesman is a representative of Jesus Christ, who came not to be served, but to serve; one tooled in the art of self-government under God, able to wisely steward his God-given property —his conscience, time, and talent—and the property of others; one able to think and reason Biblically in all areas of life, rightly dividing the Word of God; and one able to lead, by example, his own generation in a spirit of selflessness as an ambassador of Christ locally, nationally, and internationally. For we are ambassadors for Christ. (II Corinthians 5:20)

The Rosalie June Slater Award is a literary award given at Graduation to the senior whose written work exemplifies Biblical scholarship and is deemed most worthy of recognition by the high school faculty and administration. The award honors Miss Rosalie Slater, Co-founder of the Foundation for American Christian Education, for her significant contributions of excellence in American Christian education and particularly for her efforts to restore classic literature and writing to the curriculum.

This year’s recipient is Allison Koehler.
