Mr. Colby Beckstead
8th Grade and High School Teacher
Colby Beckstead is a Political Science graduate of Brigham Young University. He specialized in International Relations and Diplomacy during his time there. In college, he was selected to represent BYU at National Model United Nations, where he swept the awards ceremony, winning first place for his representation as a delegate of South Africa, as well as the Outstanding Delegation award and Best Position Paper award.
He is a native to both Las Vegas and AHA, having previously attended AHA in his youth. He is excited to be back in Las Vegas and teaching History and Health. He is an avid baseball fan and enjoys spending time with his wife, Kenzie, and their cat.
