Mr. Joe Adamo

High School Math and Science Teacher
Mr. Joe Adamo doubled majored in Communication and Criminal Justice at California State University, Fullerton. He took education classes at California State University, Bakersfield to get and additional degree in Education. Mr. Adamo has taught at American Heritage Academy for seven years.

Mr. Adamo has seven years experience teaching high school math and test prep classes. He pours his heart into everything he does. His father was an engineer on military spy planes so he spent the first years of his life overseas in Japan. American Heritage Academy reminds him of his first school, a small K-12 private school where everybody felt like family. Mr. Adamo, believes, “Moving to the United States at 12 years of age was both exciting and eye opening. Over the years, I struggled to find my purpose. I have always been the type of person who wanted to do it all – and I tried. I just wanted all I could get out of life! No matter what endeavor I may have been tackling at the time, I always brought a deep passion to all that I did. Upon the birth of my daughter, Lilah, I had finally found my true purpose. My desire now is to ensure that she gets all that she can out of life. Bringing her to AHA was just one of many important life decisions we will make over time. One thing is certain; Lilah and I are both excited and proud to be a part of the American Heritage Academy family.”

The James Madison Statesman Award is given to the senior who best exemplifies outstanding Christian statesmanship.
A statesman is a representative of Jesus Christ, who came not to be served, but to serve; one tooled in the art of self-government under God, able to wisely steward his God-given property —his conscience, time, and talent—and the property of others; one able to think and reason Biblically in all areas of life, rightly dividing the Word of God; and one able to lead, by example, his own generation in a spirit of selflessness as an ambassador of Christ locally, nationally, and internationally. For we are ambassadors for Christ. (II Corinthians 5:20)
