Mrs. Gaelle Sona

High School Foreign Language Teacher
Mrs Gaelle Sona N'Zaba, known as Mrs SONA is a native French speaker. She grew up in Toulouse, in the South of France, where she received her first degree in French from The University of Toulouse (France) and began to teach French as a Foreign Language. A couple years later, she moved to London, United Kingdom to teach French in Middle and high school. There she met her husband and got married. Several years later, she took a career break to pursue a career in Criminology. She returned to College and received another degree with Honors in Community Justice from Portsmouth University (UK). She worked as a Probation Officer for 10 years then as a Senior Probation Officer for 4 years. She recently moved to Las Vegas with her family following God's calling and feels very blessed and privileged to be able to teach French at American Heritage Academy. She loves the Lord, mentoring and encouraging young people to walk by faith. She has five children and three of them are excited to join American Heritage Academy this year.
