Mrs. Janel Rison

Physical Education Teacher
Mrs. Rison was born and raised in Las Vegas and has a great love and devotion for the Silver State. After graduating high school, Mrs. Rison attended Brigham Young University, where her major was Classical Civilization, studying Ancient Greek and Latin. When Mrs. Rison returned to Las Vegas, she began working for her family's dental practice as an office manager, a job she enjoyed for 18 years. Mrs. Rison married her wonderful husband and moved to Henderson in 2012. Mrs. Rison is blessed with three children. American Heritage Academy has been the perfect fit and being involved in the P.E. Department combines her love of children, and lifelong passion for athletics. Mrs. Rison enjoys time and travel with her family, reading, bike riding, boot camp classes and church activities.
