Mrs. Katelynn Bench
Mrs. Katelynn Bench is an enthusiastic new addition to the esteemed faculty at our American Heritage Academy Las Vegas. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Studies from Brigham Young University Idaho, Mrs. Bench possesses a strong foundation in understanding the dynamics of family relationships. Her studies in art history have also fueled her passion for exploring the ways in which art tells the stories of the past. She firmly believes that looking to our past is the way to improve our future.
Katelynn is happily married with four children, whom she homeschooled. She understands the importance of personalized education and fostering a love for learning. Over the course of six years, she has taught and mentored youth at her church. With her dedication to integrating Christian values into a classical curriculum, Mrs. Bench strives to inspire and guide scholars on their educational and spiritual journeys, encouraging them to become compassionate individuals who make a positive impact on the world.
When not in the classroom, Mrs. Bench enjoys pursuing various hobbies, including watercolor painting, baking treats, spending time in nature, and making bread. Her favorite hobbies are beating her husband in board games and spending time with those she loves most.
