Theater

American Heritage Academy’s Theater department offers scholars access to the collaborative nature of theatre through the integration of creative, analytical and character based performances. By studying the world of theatre traditions, Amererican Heritage Academy theater scholars will gain the ability to learn self-discovery, critical thinking, take action on their ideas and responsibilities, develop self-esteem and values that will lead them to a collegial environment in future avenues.

Scholars that participate in American Heritage Academy productions will have an opportunity to learn the following: Acting, design, stage management, arts management, technical areas, character development and directing. Our productions also serve as creative activities for students and enjoyable, thought-provoking entertainment for audiences.

American Heritage Academy scholars also have an opportunity to attend theater ajudications and competitions in Cedar City, Utah, Los Angeles, California and local theater juries.
